Benitachell is a small well preserved Spanish village of about 2500 inhabitants located midway between Moraira and Javea and within 3 kms of the Javea Club de Golf.
The area known as Cumbre del Sol lies substantially within the ownership of Benitachell and is a rather special area, a true land balcony rising 300 metres above sea level offering spectacular views over the Mediterranean and along the coast to Javea, Moraira, Calpe and Altea and beyond. The area has been gradually developed over the years with its own small beach with car parking and a restaurant with access initially provided by blasting a road through the cliffs. This area has its own facilities in the form of a specific area providing a supermarket, chemist, bank, restaurant/bar with a large swimming pool and tennis courts and another centre is currently under construction in another location. The amenities and beaches of Moraira and Javea are within easy reach by car.
